Payment Information
 

We accept payment via any of the options listed on this page. We accept payment only in Australian currency, and request advanced notification of the preferred payment method.

A combination of the accepted methods for deposit and full payment is also a consideration at the discretion of the guest. In certain instances, or on cost analysis, guests may find it appropriate to pay a deposit via Paymate or PayPal in order to secure the booking, followed by a International Bank Draft or Telegraphic Transfer of the full balance.

We only offer all the methods listed as a convenience to our guests.

Cheque or Direct Debit.

Australian based guests can simply pay by cheque or direct debit, as well as Paymate or PayPal (subject to fees).

International Bank Draft

(AUD) in the payee name of Brian Fraser posted to the post office box address listed in the contact details under the menu area on the Contact/Email page, with a note naming the corresponding reservation name. Bank drafts can take a substantial amount of time to clear and payment will be deemded made only upon the clearance of funds. We are not liable for any delays and the payer accepts full reponsibility in consideration of set payment deadlines. IBD also incur associated deposit costs our end of around $15.00-$20.00 (AUD), which will be itemised and included on the invoice.

Telegraphic Transfer

(AUD) to our Australian bank account. Bank, account and required SWIFT code will be advised upon request. TT are a faster alternative to IDD and can be fully traced. TT also incur associated deposit costs our end of around $15.00-$20.00, which will be itemised and included on the invoice.

PayPal

Credit card payment system. PayPal Pty Ltd is a VeriSign secured 128-bit encryption secure credit card internet payment system well known as a popular payment option on the eBay and Trade Me networks.

PayPal is an American based business which is owned by eBay. PayPal has millions of registered users worldwide and handles many millions of dollars in transactions. For more information regarding PayPal or to view their fee structure visit www.paypal.com.au

Each PayPal transaction attracts a 3.4%+$0.50 credit card fee which is added to the payers credit card at the time of the transaction. This is a typical in kind fee charged by Visa and most banks for any foreign exchange, including IBD and TT. The payer selects AUD as the preferred currency and payment is made to us in AUD currency. Payers should see the exchange rate utilised by PayPal for the conversion. A 2.4% transaction fee is incurred at our end, which is past onto the payer in the itemised invoice.

Payers are not required to register or be registered with PayPal in order to make a payment through PayPal. Existing PayPal members can sign into their PayPal account on the PayPal account screen.

PayPal is a fast, safe and convenient method of payment which accepts payment in AUD currency from off shore credit cards. In most cases the PayPal payment method will incur a similar cost to the other options available. IBD and TT can incur around a $25.00 fee plus a 2.5% currency exchange fee. A further administration fee of around $15.00 is then charged at our end.

Payers may also benefit from their credit card reward programs by using their credit cards to make payment.

VISA and Mastercard credit card payment system. Paymate Pty Ltd is a VeriSign secure 128-bit encryption secure credit card internet payment option similar in nature to PayPal and is a common international commercial payment method as well as being a popular payment option on the Trade Me network.
